How much does it cost to use a Realtor to buy a home?

If you're looking to buy a home in Alberta, you might be wondering how realtors are paid. It's a common question, and one that I’m happy to answer! In this blog post, I’ll explain how realtors are paid, and why it's important to understand the process.

Realtors are paid on a commission basis most often. This means that we receive a percentage of the sale price of the home, and the percentage can vary depending on the scenario. With that being said, when you are the buyer in the transaction, you are not responsible for paying the realtor fees in the transaction and there is no cost to you to use a Realtor!

Seeing as there is no cost associated with working with a Realtor when you are the Buyer, I cannot stress enough the importance of working with someone who is looking out for your best interest at every step of the way.
